On Int.Day of Solidarity w/ detained & missing staff members I think of all @UN colleagues detained globally-inc.8 from my Office held in Yemen. Their detention is a grave injustice. We stand with all staff that are currently detained in solidarity & determination

The death penalty has no place in the 21st century, yet executions surged 31% in 2023 reaching an 8yr high. Justice systems are fallible. Where executions continue, so do wrongful deaths. My Office urges all States to establish a moratorium & move towards abolition.#HRC58 @UN_HRC

On #EUVictimsDay, remember giving crime victims a voice is a key step towards justice - yet too many remain unheard. Violence, harassment & discrimination are more common than official reports suggest. We need safe ways for victims to report crimes & fully support their rights.
