टोल प्लाजा पर अब ना ID कार्ड की धौंस चलेगी और ना कैश, FASTag पर नए नियम जारी. टोल प्लाजा पर नकद भुगतान की सुविधा 10 अप्रैल से खत्म हो जाएगी. सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय (MoRTH) ने गजट नोटिफिकेशन जारी कर टोल नियमों में बदलाव कर दिया है. यानी 10 अप्रैल के बाद से हर टोल ट्रांजेक्शन सिर्फ डिजिटल तरीके से ही होगा. अगर किसी गाड़ी में FASTag नहीं लगा या काम नहीं कर रहा या ब्लैक लिस्ट है और ड्राइवर UPI टोल भुगतान करने से मना करता है, तो टोल कर्मचारी उसे आगे जाने से रोक सकते हैं. ऐसे मामले में वाहन मालिक को ई-नोटिस भी भेजा जा सकता है. अगर बकाया राशि तीन दिन तक जमा नहीं की जाती, तो टोल की रकम दोगुनी हो सकती है. अगर किसी गाड़ी पर फास्टैग नहीं है या एक्टिवेट नहीं है तो UPI से पेमेंट करने की सुविधा मिलेगी. लेकिन UPI से पेमेंट करने पर सामान्य टोल फीस से 25 फीसदी से ज्यादा पैसा देना होगा. माने 100 रुपये की जगह 125 रुपये देने होंगे. ID कार्ड की धौंस नहीं चलेगी नए नियम के बाद टोल प्लाजा पर ID कार्ड का रुतबा काम नहीं करेगा. अब तक टोल प्लाजा पर एक आम समस्या यह भी थी कि कुछ सरकारी विभागों या सेवाओं से जुड़े लोग निजी यात्रा होने पर भी अपना ID कार्ड दिखाकर छूट का दावा कर देते थे. नई नियमावली में इसे पूरी तरह बंद कर दिया गया है. अब टोल में छूट किसी व्यक्ति को नहीं, बल्कि गाड़ी या उसके आधिकारिक इस्तेमाल के आधार पर मिलेगी. जिन लोगों को छूट मिलती है, उन्हें सही प्रक्रिया के जरिए Exempted FASTag बनवाना होगा. इसके लिए FASTag का एनुअल पास भी लिया जा सकता है. पूरी खबर: thelallantop.com/auto/post/no-c…
