I raised objection a day before assembly session that this is clear violation of Nehru-Master Tara Singh pact, that time SGPC did not protest. SGPC should have convinced Sikh organizations about this and mischief played under garb of strong law.

Phoolka says, "Look, it is not only the Congress making these allegations. All parties and even the public have made such claims. These allegations have been made in the Vidhan Sabha, and even at religious gatherings near Guru Granth Sahib and in gurdwaras at various places. These allegations have been made many times before; this is not the first time"

In his historic address to the nation PM Sh @narendramodi Ji issues an impassioned and heartfelt apology to the mothers and sisters of our country that despite all the best efforts, the Amendments could not be made in the Nari Shakti Adhiniyam. One could sense how PM Modi Ji was deeply hurt that the Nari Shakti of our country continues to stay deprived of the strength that the passage of this amendment would have delivered to it and how India is witnessing how women's progress has stalled; and this process was cheered and celebrated with thumping of desks. Canards and misinformation were spread about the amendment as Congress and its allies committed feticide of this endeavour in the Parliament. Fact is, that the Amendment was not about taking anything away from anyone, but about giving something to everyone. It was about giving women the rights that had been pending for 40 years, in the next elections in 2029. It was a 'Maha Yagya' to remove obstacles from their path. These parties celebrated the defeat of India’s mothers and sisters, and also insulted the sentiments of the framers of the Constitution. Women of this country will not forget this insult. For us the priority is देश हित, but for the opposition the priority was दल हित. ‘Nari Shakti’ had to bear the burden of the selfish politics of parties like Congress, DMK, TMC and Samajwadi Party. This was an opportunity for them to help in proportionate increase in representation to every state. But they celebrated its fall. Had the Bill been passed, seats in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Keralam and every state would have increased. Those opposing it, failed the very people they claim to represent. Congress and its allies want to fan the flames of division under this pretext. Congress has inherited the politics of divide and rule from the British as its heritage. Even today, Congress is functioning on the same. It has always fanned the sentiments which create fractures within the country. Congress hates the topic of women’s reservation and has always conspired to stop this. Whenever efforts were made in this direction, Congress always put obstacles. This time as well, Congress and its allies used one or the other lies to stop this. They tried to mislead the nation. They have always been an Anti-Reform Party.

Women Reservation is a great initiative by PM @narendramodi ji. Guru Nanak Dev ji preached for equality & equal rights to women 500 years ago. This bill is a step towards achieving that goal.
