my hot take is some smart young ppl have to pursue these roles in order to move up in their economic situation and provide themselves with the capital to seek therapy or support their families, etc. But yes hopefully they can grow outta that and into their truth!! 🌱❤️

so sick of seeing smart young ppl pursue regular rat races but then paint their morally-murky work as being mission-driven in order to signal that they're a good person. subtly lying to yourself creates reality distortion ripples that degrade your ability to see solutions clearly
