@qiqing Actually, you could write your own memoir.

@FAANews "The FAA issued the Final Environmental Assessment for the @SpaceX Starfall reentry vehicle. The review evaluated the environmental impacts of reentry, splashdown, and recovery activities." "Under the proposal, SpaceX would launch two Starfall missions to Low Earth Orbit or to a sub-orbital trajectory as a payload on the Falcon 9 or the Starship-Super Heavy launch vehicles. The capsules would splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off the U.S. west coast in international waters." "The completion of the environmental review process does not guarantee the FAA will issue a Starfall reentry license. The SpaceX application must also meet safety, risk and financial responsibility requirements before a license can be issued." drs.faa.gov/browse/excelEx…

@bryanrbeal @levelsio The hybrid is an overpriced piece of shit just like the rest of them. The weight helps you accept it in the short term, but they all crack in the end. I’m on my 3rd after somehow managing 2 free replacements, but this time they said no. Never again.

The touchbar was too early and didn't deserve to die, it deserved an LLM. Static shortcut buttons were the wrong bet. Imagine buttons that rewrite themselves based on whatever you're doing, that's the keyboard that feels right for an AI-native Mac.

san francisco has a brutal housing shortage, but still makes it painfully hard to replace these old low-density homes with modern apartments. example, currently Richmont/Sunset just feels sad, could be dense, beautiful, walkable neighborhoods with much better housing. whole city is basically frozen in time, which is magnified by OpenAI/Anthropic wealth wave competing for the same limited housing. the whole thing gets even more absurd. afaik, the laws in San Francisco don't allow any reasonable development of new housing in this city. 50yo houses are treated as a historic resources, preventing new modern, comfortable apartments to be build. I sometimes wish people living in SF could move to Warsaw/Bali for 1 month to taste how good life can be, just to elevate their baseline expectations. i really can not see the city moving forward without rebuilding itself.

Anthropic 的老板Dario 看来当年没少在中国花啊~ 不知道遭遇了啥如此的痛很国人……

It's been nearly 10 Months and I've yet to see an iPhone Air in the wild

wow K&E, largest law firm in the world ($10B billings). They’re committing $500M to build proprietary AI software, with 180 tech pros and 100 partners involved. I’m skeptical that “build” is right here, but wonder if Anthropic/OAI deployment cos are involved.
