@BmaafiNFL What production do they look for? Feel like Van Ness and possibly Gary didn't have a ton of production in college

Seeing a lot of Purdue as a F4 and title pick which is understandable after their tourney run. They do fall into a category of team that I have highlighted in the past that often underperforms expectations. Elite offense and poor defense for a high seed. #1 in pts/pos on Off but 143rd in pts/pos allowed on Def. I understand SOS adjustments matter but sometimes these efficiency metrics can get overadjusted and can mask poor defense. They dont foul, which is good but they are awful defending 2pt shots and dont force any TOs. That's a recipe to get upset. Only two teams out of 49 in this data set reached the F4 since 2001 and none reached the Title game. #2 seeds in this bucket have underperformed their seed expectations by 1.5 wins. Doesnt mean everything bc if their opp goes cold from 3 they will certainly get stops but they just profile as vulnerable

Update to graph categories: Louisville to the Z-Rating Curse Section With Mikel Brown being OUT, I believe their seed list ranking would have gone down which would have led to a bigger gap between the Z-Rating and the seed listing.

@BillyM_91 Ark and Bama also fit here but I was just highlighting Purdue since they are such a popular F4 "sleeper"

@huddlea12 I don’t think so. That was from before I made some tweaks to the rating. I did run the old rating for fun last night. When I am back on my computer, I can let you know who is 13th in that

Saleh traded Tvondre Sweat outta Tennessee. I wonder if Hafley would trade Kenneth Grant outta Miami.

@Z_rating Feels pretty strong that the NC will be one of Duke, Michigan or Arizona.

Mark me down as VERY intrigued by Missouri DT Chris McClellan. 34" arms. 11" hands. Really stout against the run and has enough quickness to bring pass-rushing juice. Lowering his pad level and improving his technique could make him a *dominant* three-down player.

@Aceti_Felipe Definitely think they take one but not at 52. Eli Raridon or Sam Roush late day 3 would be awesome

Part of me wonders if TE could be in play for the Packers at 52. GB ran 33.76% of their plays in 12 personnel last year, the 5th-highest rate in the NFL. Kraft is coming back from an ACL, and Musgrave is in the final year of his rookie deal. Unpopular route, but not that crazy.

@Peter_Bukowski 100%. Also is it really good value to take a NT only with the 52nd pick. Get a FA and then grab some guy in rd 5

This is exactly it re: Big Citrus. There's only 1 DT in this draft class I think could come in right away and anchor the early-down run defense: Kayden McDonald. It's why they need to sign/trade for a NT before the draft.
Nicholas Flaten@nfberndt

@Peter_Bukowski He gets knocked back way too often in college to be someone I’d want to count on as the Packers nose tackle this year.

Christen Miller is down to 47 on the consensus board. A Georgia defensive tackle for the Packers you say? 🤔

The Packers spoke with Missouri State RB Shomari Lawrence at his Pro Day. Lawrence only did bench there, but will attend the Mizzou Pro Day next Friday.

The Packers have roster bonuses which trigger TODAY if they are on the roster. Zach Tom: $3m Brandon McManus: $1m Isaiah McDuffie: $750k They can still restructure or release today, but if these get paid the likelihood of making the roster skyrockets. (This is a McManus tweet)

more than 30%. You're still gonna play a decent amount of early down nickel, and you want the stuffer on the field for that too, less you give up 5 ypc. Probably around 50-55% of snaps.
Adam Huddle@huddlea12

@rcon14 @RJSurdyk How much would you guess that true NT will play? Base downs usually like 30% of the game?

I wonder if there’s still a move to be made for the Packers at EDGE. They’ve always had 3 big simultaneous investments at that position under Gutekunst. If it’s me, I’m calling Jadeveon Clowney.
