When I finished Uni and was awaiting NYSC, I planned to go into this business. I decided to make extensive inquiries, from those who sold the machine, those who are already doing the business, and those who operated it. Here's what I found: 1. The machine doesn't cost 2 million Naira if you're buying new. It costs about 3 to 4 million Naira for one that can mix only one bag of cement and 4 to 5 million for one that can mix two bags. 2. You can get a used one for 1.6 to 2 million Naira, but you'd better hope that the generator that accompanies it works well. I was told that the diesel generator is better than petrol because it's stronger and more resilient. 3. It is true that you can charge 80k to 100k per day for rent. But the responsibility of delivering the machine to the location where it will be used falls on you. So, if you charge 80k, you might use 30k to rent a truck that will help you transport it to the location. And even when you are willing to pay the 30k, you may not easily get a truck and will end up disappointing your clients. You can cut this cost and avoid the stress if you already own a truck. 4. You will need an operator who will help you operate it daily, and the operator charges 10 to 12k every day. In your best interest, get a trustworthy operator because some operators will connive with the other construction workers and lie to you that the machine was not used on some days. This means that they will not pay you on those days. 5. Many of those who own this business have contracts with the Ministry of Works or other agencies and private individuals embarking on large projects like estate and road construction. So, their machines are always in use. If you have no such contract, it might be difficult for you to get customers often and the machine will just sit idle most of the time. 6. With this information that I have provided for you, you can decide for yourself whether it's a business you want to consider or not. Attached are two pictures that I took: 1. She is dealing with pain and difficulty caring for herself, but AI medical advancements in that area provide hope that she will be in a good place again soon. The message this sends to young people is heartbreaking. She is not terminally ill and without hope. She is depressed and needs help from the community around her. Now let's fact check some things A Video emerged in the morning , where Blessing CEO allegedly sais she had Stage 4 Breast Cancer For context, Stage 4 Breast cancer means the cancer has spread beyond the Breast, to other distant organs eg Liver, Lungs, Brain, etc Now you come with a video that is saying Doctors want to do a mastectomy to confirm how far it has spread etc How??? Same you, that already said Stage 4 Which Doctor told you they want to remove your entire breast to know how far it has spread. Really? Just to mention it is unlikely you want to do a Mastectomy for a stage 4 Breast cancer and most likely other therapies will likely be considered cos the cancer has left the Breast except perhaps reducing the size. So what's the truth exactly? All these stories will just keep worsening the mistrust in our Health system See what stage 4 means
