@deminimismusic @paulmfarrer I was incredulous, at first. Then quickly realised how rude I was. And how little I knew. Was surprised how many people claimed sightings within their families. And not crackpot stuff. Genuine and strongly held belief by good folk.

I heard a wonderful story about the canteen at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol. One of the servers was a hardcore Tourette’s sufferer and could often be found putting balls of mash and salad onto the plate of #sirdavidattenborough whilst screaming obscenities.

@MichaelLoda There was a small team of us including the Indian researchers who met people, we then looked at their loves/‘stories’ (what might happen in story arc terms while we were there) and then we worked with/alongside them. There were others who, sadly, we couldn’t fit into one hour.

@hugosmith Yeah it's beautiful, one of the finest corners of India. And so how did you encounter the people in the film? Were there fixers who found them and set you up together before the filming crew arrived, or what? How difficult was it to find people with such cool stories?

@MichaelLoda Yes. We were there for about three months or so. Maybe a little longer. Mixed British and Indian crew and production team, all of whom were talented and dedicated. Such a lovely place and nice to make a kind film. A real privilege.
