A couple of years ago I inherited my dad's 1960 Auburn class ring. First class to graduate from "Auburn University." Interesting thing: the date on the face is 1872, the Land Grant year, not 1856, the founding date they use on everything now. We saw one just like this, but dated 1961, selling for $1,500 online. Not selling this one tho.

This is really interesting. We hope @JohnCohenAD and others are thinking along similar out-of-the-box tracks. The old BEMC area would be the perfect spot to have a venue connecting the athletics facilities while creating new revenue streams (hotels/entertainment/food/etc.).
