I was very late to the $TSLA story. I was trading in and out of it for a while, but didn't really start building a long-term position until December 2022/January 2023. It was difficult at the time, especially since it was "going down to $60 for sure."

@SevenParr Do you think they know the merger with spacex is likely. But then are they not concerned Tesla holders may not get a fair compensation on the long term stock. This is one thing that making me uncertain

I think that institutions think $TSLA will see the largest increase in market cap of any asset EVER in history. The stock is currently priced as if it has the potential to to dominate three massive markets - robotaxi, humanoid robots, & energy storage. But because none of that has truly come to fruition - It is in a state of uncertainty. Sideways for the last 5 years. The market says "prove it" And THEN we'll move higher. But institutions have already made their largest investment EVER into any asset in history - right here... They don't see any uncertainty. The stock is insanely mispriced according the them. @TheProfInvestor I’m thinking of selling Tesla on the hype pre merger then wait for the dust to settle on once it merges. Market will likely sell the news… then start re acumulating. I only kept buying based on future possible stock splits but that goes away..

@dannycheng2022 would this change your long term plan on $TSLA. And what I mean is it wise to sell perhaps before the merger then rebuy back in. Now I don’t think there will be another stock split before the merger if it goes ahead…

@wholemars How would it affect $tsla shareholders tho. I’m considering selling 75% on the hype pre merger… then wait till dust settles be more re accumulating. Because we’re realistically going to get less than 1 share of space x to one tesla share right

@TheProfInvestor So as a long term investor when is it right to take some profits. I want to accumulate for the next 10 years and compound with splits….when I bought last year, it almost came back down to my buy price. I continued to dca however and and up on it.

My most requested stock by far: $TSLA My thesis hasn't changed. - Series of higher lows since October. - Each pullback finding higher support. - Multiple wedge breakouts, each one holding. This is textbook base building. The real Tesla bull run starts once we cross above 500. Investors are waiting for a Fundamental shift now. Tesla isn't a trade. It's a 2-3 year structural bull setup. If you liked Tesla at $400-450, you'll love it at $700. But it takes patience.

$SPY Watching the dislocation between where price is currently trading and where net call premiums are positioned. If net call premium starts falling negative, I’d expect volume to weaken further negative as positioning unwinds — with price likely following lower as well. That price-to-premium gap is what I’m focused on here.
