We're open-sourcing Asimov v1, a humanoid robot. With Asimov v1, you can build, train on, and make it your own humanoid robot. It's the first step of building a humanoid labor force for the rest of us. Asimov v1 is 1.2 m tall, 35 kg, with 25 actuated degrees of freedom. Structural parts machined in 7075 aluminium and 3D-printed in MJF PA12 nylon. We're releasing the mechanical design and simulation files. Ready for locomotion policy training out of the box. The BOM is open too. Source everything yourself, or order the DIY Kit. All components, ready to assemble. $499 deposit, $15,000 target price. Ships end of summer 2026. GitHub: github.com/asimovinc/asim… Manual: manual.asimov.inc DIY Kit: asimov.inc/diy-kit Most humanoid robots are controlled by the companies that build them. Asimov v1 is built for the rest of us. Build it, test it, and share your feedback with the community.

Humanoid robots are about to dominate the rest of 2026. Events to watch: • May 14-16: Hangzhou Humanoid Robot Expo, China • May 27-28: Robotics Summit & Expo, Boston • May 28-29: @HumanoidsSummit Tokyo • June 1-5: @ieee_ras_icra, Vienna • June 16-17: EMEA Humanoid Robot Summit, Munich • Aug 8-12: World Robot Conference, Beijing • Sept 9-11: Humanoid Robots Summit Europe, Stuttgart • Sept 27-Oct 1: @ieeeiros, Pittsburgh • Nov 11-13: @NextechWeek Tokyo • Dec 6-9: IEEE-RAS Humanoids 2026 The second half of 2026 could be the moment humanoids move from viral demos to real industry.

I built whichhumanoid.ai, the world's first buyer's directory for humanoid robots. Tesla Optimus, Figure 02, 1X Neo, Unitree R1, AgiBot, Apptronik Apollo. Every robot side-by-side. Compare any two like you'd compare two cars. What's inside: → 308 humanoid robots catalogued → Compare on price, payload, height, walking speed, and funding → Filter by use case (manufacturing, home, healthcare, defense) → Live ticker of every shipment, launch, and customer deploy → Submit any humanoid I missed A few things that surprised me building it: → Only 66 of 308 are shipping today → Only 32 publish a price → Only 30 have a verified customer deploy → Cheapest shipping robot is Unitree R1 at $4,900. The highest price I've seen is $250,000. P.S. Find a bug, DM me. I'll fix it same day.

Humanoid robot shipments in 2025: 1/ Unitree (China): 5,500 2/ Agibot (China): 5,168 3/ UBTECH (China): 1,000 4/ Leju Robotics (China): 500 5/ Engine AI (China): 400 6/ Fourier Intelligence (China): 300 7/ Figure AI (US): 150 8/ Agility Robotics (US): 150 9/ Tesla (US): 150 10/ Others: 1,350 Total: 14,668 units China clearly dominates humanoid deployments by 87.7%.

Robots are now throwing hands... and its starting to get dirty. 😤
