Quests encouraged us to stay in the garrisons and a lot of progress was tied to it. How will blue shards avoid that issue? Excited for the podcast!

@Ghostcrawler I'm on the edge of my seat here. I know you can't spill any of the beans early, but how about this: if you could describe your new game using just one marine life organism, what would it be? Looking forward to the announcement!

Because it validates our strategy of talking to players early and often. If you are confused, concerned or (gasp) indifferent, then that is great information to have, and we can make pivots to our product and delivery before we take another swing at it.

Soon (tm) we will announce our studio and game. If you all love it, well then we can be as surprised as anyone that we are actually good at this. If you don’t like it, that is almost as big a win! Why?

@Ghostcrawler From a healer POV, sometimes we get handed spells that have a flavor of "use this before big damage!" Shield spells, damage mitigation buffs, certain types of HoT spells, player displacement, etc. When things are too unpredictable, those spells can feel difficult to utilize well.

For example, a dungeon “pull” could be so predictable that you always know how it will go… or when you can skip it. Or it can be so unpredictable that responding in real time is a big chunk of the skill check. Pros / cons?

Okay on a happier note, actual MMO discussion. This is not a reveal. Sorry. We won’t do that on twitter. But we have been talking about how much MMO skill should be adaptation to new conditions versus execution on a known situation.

Found out today that I have COVID. I feel fine - virtually no symptoms. I am fully boosted, wear a mask, am in the best shape of my life, and mostly have stayed home. I’m not worried about myself, but please stay safe out there! (And no this won’t delay the new game)
