Are u sure? Carragher got more knowledge of goalkeepers. Only reason why he gives Raya credit now is to say AFC don’t have a good defence, it’s the goalkeeper who does everything at the moment..

When Arsenal smashed Spurs 4-1 in February Peter Schmeichel was sat just at the front of the press box.
When Gyokeres scored the fourth goal Schmeichel stormed out of his seat to head down to get ready for his post match interview with steam coming out of his ears. He was fuming and clearly so, so gutted at seeing Arsenal win so well.
Any other team today, he 100% says that's clear foul and backs the keeper. Seeing him like this just makes that win feel even sweeter.

Dembele, the Ballon d’Or holder, went through one on one against Neuer and missed. He still scored 2 goals. Why? Because PSG create lot of chances.
If it was Gyök that missed that chance, we would’ve k!lled him. Why? Because we know he won’t get any other one.

The people who complain about Viktor Gyokeres mostly complain about his work in different phases of the game.
But what they don’t understand is that, just like Martinelli he’s a transition striker. He’s not suited to how we play safe but still has 18 goals. It’s a miracle.

Gyokeres is a Bèàşt, I have never seen a player clear ball from his box to opponent half, still pressed and recovered the ball, all you needed was good servicing and I believe you will be banging goals.

@OlisaOsega I'm guessing this people were still children when the likes of Adebayor and Lore Bendtner was top striker for us. These guys get loads of chances but miss sitters on a regular. But we have a prolific Gyokeres here who hardly gets chances but still managed to rack up 18 goals.

You can’t defend Gyökeres anymore, someone has scored 18 goals in his debut season. But you’re still defending Arteta despite his constant failings every season. Anyone who calls him out is “negative”. You can’t cherish pick who to defend. Spread your toxic positivity evenly.
