Apple’s iPhone 18 could bring one of the biggest privacy upgrades in years. 👀 Leaks suggest Apple’s new in-house C2 modem may let iPhones hide your exact location from carriers by limiting precise tower triangulation. That means: • Less carrier tracking • Better metadata privacy • More control over your location data • Possible satellite + 5G upgrades too Apple isn’t just replacing Qualcomm anymore. They’re turning the modem into a privacy weapon. 🔒📱 If this ships with iPhone 18, Android brands will have to respond fast. Via: AppleInsider

@SnazzyLabs I think you were too lenient on apple OS in your 2025 apple products tier list video lol. Every single one of their OS has gotten worse since even with updates

It would be really great if Apple made tvOS work at more than 7-12FPS. It's so friggin' slow with tvOS 26 on all but the very latest gen models (and even those are slow too)!

The new Googlebook is so UGLY. It just looks like a standard windows laptop. None of Google’s design language is implemented into this laptop design like the PixelBook Go. Just a small RGB strip for Gemini 🤦‍♂️

Google should re-release the PixelBook Go with a Snapdragon X-Elite! - 2.1 lbs (0.95 kg) - 13mm thin - rounded corners and bottom ridges This is the best laptop design ever and I think it would be really good competition with the MacBook Neo.

@hunnpham @OutofGalaxyy Yeah and on a Samsung opening any social media app drains the battery like a vampire. The quick panel lags and hitches on their flagship devices. Optimization is a word Android phones don't even understand lol. Google apps on IOS are tailored, meanwhile samdroid gets nothing! Lol

@Dull_wall_build @OutofGalaxyy An iPhone 12 on iOS 26 that has a more powerful soc than a Pixel 10 lags and overheat just by changing the lock screen wallpaper or opening the phone app lmao. Optimized my ass

@hunnpham @OutofGalaxyy It's more like "oh yeah, we can't do that because our phones would catch fire and explode because our OS is nowhere near as optimized."

Android 17 is most likely getting an iOS 7-like "frosted glass" blur effect across the entire UI. This is Google’s answer to iOS Liquid Glass.

It's crazy that the iPad Air 2 was released in October 2014 and still receiving software updates today. Apple released iPadOS 15.8.8 today, 11.5 years after the release of the device. What other company is supporting their mobile products for that long?

@SnazzyLabs @MicrosoftvApple More like he's criticizing how bloated and unoptimized ios has become since liquid glass. A much more powerful chip but somehow can't even change the wallpaper smoothly, and has animations at sub 60fps when opening apps. That's how bad ios has become

I’m tired of this narrative that Pixel 10 and 11 have an SoC that’s as powerful as the 6 year old iPhone 12 or just 10% more powerful. While true on-paper, the iPhone 12 mini has frame drops even in basic multitasking on iOS 26 and this is what the phone becomes in 5 minutes of outdoor use in summers because there’s no vapour chamber. It’s an identical experience for the base iPhone 12 and 13 as well. The Pixel 11 is NOT gonna perform as garbage as this because it has 2-3x the RAM, a vapour chamber for cooling and a more optimised UI (regardless of the reason why it’s more optimised). Pixel 11 is going to perform smooth af and on-par with the iPhone 17 in daily use. I’m the last person to defend tensor’s garbage performance compared to Snapdragon and even Exynos but I really hate this narrative of iPhone winning in benchmark numbers by 6 years but performing worse than Androids that score half of that on paper. x.com/microsoftvappl…
Quinn Nelson@SnazzyLabs

The Tensor G6 is a huge upgrade. 10% SoC improvements put it at just a little bit more performant than an iPhone 12. Nice work!

@SnazzyLabs You laugh but UI on a pixel 10 with weak hardware is night and day compared to an iPhone 12 on iOS 26. It should radicalise you to no end that you would've had a smooth UI if Liquid Glass doesn't exist and if iOS wasn't bloated. All that power wasted on useless things. Tragic

@heystevebauman I find the people threatening to go back to Windows because Liquid Glass is "ugly" hilarious. I just wanna go... you'd rather use a broken operating system that's trying to shove AI down your throat and ads than... *checks notes* a border radii not being to your liking? Doubt.

Apple is getting rid of the capacitive layer on the iPhone 18 Pro’s Camera Control, meaning swiping and scrolling will not be supported anymore They seem to have realized that Camera Control is only useful for opening the camera app lol
