My 2 year old is a sweet little chunk. Every Sunday, try as we may to explain the concept of communion, he bursts into tears at the altar, certain he is being intentionally targeted for exclusion by the Priest. Get a babysitter. I dont understand why any parent would take a 2 year old to an adult function. Haven't you ever heard of Sunday School? Why continue to traumatize your child in church? It will just have bad memories connected to Church . Sunday school is the way to go at 2 not Holy Communion that they can't have and get excluded from.
