I was gonna be petty and name some people but I’ll be nice today 😂😂😂😂

A performance coach after the athlete they trained one time for two weeks gets a college offer or makes it professionally

I will continue to expose track coaches who break their sprinters.
Imagine a good sprinter after missing a week with a strained quad…
Day-1: 200, 150, 100
Day-2: 4x200, 4x90, 4x60, 4x30
Now he has a hip flexor issue.
What if there was a way to get fast, stay healthy, and have a blast doing it?
English

@steven_montoya Consumerism matters more than craftsmanship.
And speaking as an engineer, I can’t see many designers/engineers wanting to dismiss craftsmanship. But things have to be done faster for less money and better profit margins.

Is it just me or are things getting smaller and/or built with less quality than they were just a few years ago let alone 10 or 20 years ago?
I feel food portions are shrinking everywhere.
I feel things are cheap and break more easily than they used to. Everything is built to be replaced soon.

@AltamontXCTF 45 miles for a freshman is great. Leave it there and have a QUALITY spring!

We’re trying to train HS milers here, not middle aged marathon runners (or building stinking pyramids for that matter).
Am I wrong for disagreeing with this training plan? Help me out here @Siemers_XC_TF @coachjayjohnson @hunterco

@CoachFig_ @Tier1athlete I think the translation comes from the improved coordination and control, especially when we’re talking about young undeveloped athletes. Probably diminishing returns as the athlete improves.
English

@Tier1athlete @hunterco You are asking great questions coach. The off leg is hard to control with small stiff bounces. That’s where I try to get athletes to focus on the ankle stiffness. I have seen visible improvement in the drill. How does it translate to speed directly? That’s the real question.
English

@Tier1athlete Loading the ankle in a light plyometric? Maybe it doesn’t. Just a hypothesis to answer your question.
English

@hunterco I fully understand using it for coordination & maybe using Exogen to microload the upper hip area or upper knee to help create limb awareness.
How do you see it helping with ankle stiffness?

On behalf of the Christians of the #MiddleEast, and of all women and men of good will, I appeal to those responsible for this conflict: cease fire! May paths of dialogue be reopened! Violence can never lead to the justice, stability and peace for which the peoples are waiting.
