Glad to have you on the team Rob! I agree with the Easter Sunday point though lol. I feel like a minimum margin needs to be applied? If someone kicks a goal but the Dees are still 30+ down then probably no music for mine. Reason it took off at the Gabba was because Brisbane used to never lose there!

Ironically no club needed goal songs more than the oldest one in the league. Hopefully this adds some atmosphere to Dees games. Love it.

Feels like there are basically two AFL divisions right now - the top 12, and then the bottom six of Carlton, Essendon, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Richmond and West Coast. Division 1 is currently 7-0 against Division 2 with an average margin of 66 points.

At his peak he was a star but you have no idea how much the club indulged and mollycoddled him while he took the piss and refused to adhere to even the most basic adult personal and professional standards, all the while pocketing the $1.5m the club were paying him a year

I've been critical of his start to the year, but is that Sparrow's best game for the club? 29 touches, 7 tackles and a goal. A sign he might be ready, and willing, to take that next step. His next challenge is backing it up week to week.

Honestly @davidking34 if you can't call a Hawthorn game without essentially supporting the opposition then dont bother. When we hit the lead in the last quarter all you could muster was "remember, sydney are seriously disarmed" Up the Hawks!

A lot of Gawn discussion on the Twitter machine atm Is he the best ruckman of the 21st century? Is he better than Cox? Etc The answer is yes to both and he’s probably the best ruckman of all time. It’s not hyperbolic to say this. It’s between Gawn and Polly at this point.

A big watch for me on the Dees moving forward is getting exposed defensively. We pressed high up the ground and think we could come undone in a big way at times. Just got to keep up the frenetic pace.

Support bases in Vic are multigenerational and *very* sticky, the relative "size" of clubs takes a long time to shift. I think historically speaking the Bombers and Blues have like 20 years more of *gestures at everything* before minnowisation can really start to set in.
