When we actually do go out to eat, we tip at least 20%. That part isn’t really the issue. The issue is that menu prices are higher, drinks are higher, taxes are higher, and then people act like 30% on top should be automatic. At some point, regular families don’t argue about it. They just stop going out.


I don't think people appreciate how little monetary policy has to do with inflation right now. And those that believe it's all about monetary policy do not appreciate how insane fiscal policy has been the last 5 years.
