@reneneneneneeee @HiThereJosh For them to survive this they need 5x 2ks and 2x 1k in hand + likfe. If you start with 9 and they take you can still go 5 > 5 > 13 which is the same amount of counter required so why is it making it easier for them?

After not really playing #onepiecetcg since OP12 i played in a local 1k event today! ~50ish players They told me to build and play 🟣Enel, its easy they said….. after 6 rounds of swiss my brain was so cooked that i punted the W away in top 4. @AriyaIsTheBest @dontfollowdunc Except all of that doesn't matter at all. There is just a Mathematically correct landcount/colorsplit to play for any given curve. The system still has non games a certain % of the time (that % is way too high compared to most other TCGs)

@dontfollowdunc Not trying to say skill issue, but the land system is very intricate and harder to master vs other games like energy. There's a challenge in deckbuilding with managing land count, your mana curve and your card draw and selection, as well as playing the game like with mulligans

I’m new to Card games in general. Played Pokemon for years, 4fun. MTG was my “first” proper entry and the land system is diabolical. Having to rely on RNG to be able to play a card is beyond frustrating.

@SQ_OPTCG @krsnkrlvr Any techs you can think of for GP MU. They can play 2 Bodys a turn deny our 7c play and luna us. Feels impossible.

@krsnkrlvr Against Mihawk it’s still fine as long as we are consistently removing bodies. GP however has op14 nami paired with Luna which is really back breaking for Lucy

Saw a few posts that Lucy is a fake deck which I think is a common conclusion for players who had only clocked 3 games with it There’s SKILLS to this deck with the only really REALLY bad matchup being GP Luffy

Capitalism means that anyone can gain enough money to invest everything into making a mine, otherwise only the gov can do it.

That means it was done as a luxury. Fun fact, that means they were bartering in a society for food miners weren't growing. They didn't NEED to mine

@raymnlee Not really no. Card games have variance sure but pudding is just unnecessary RNG. It would be totally fine if it just said bottom deck cards until you have 5 cards in hand.
