@ShardiB2 How are they going to pay for the housing when all the jobs are taken by humanoids nd AI?

Don’t Follow Shardi B If You Hate Money
Here’s how it works First you build the humanoids Then the humanoids start building these Then they start operating these Then they start building massive amount of housing in the insane amounts of land that we have here available here in America Then we solve the housing crisis Done

ICON has unveiled a next-gen construction 3D printer that replaces older gantry systems. Moving on tracks between sites, it cuts setup time and labor. With a 70-ft print radius, it can build multi-story structures up to 27 ft tall and 110 ft long faster and cheaper.

In summary, they ain’t got a clue on how to fix the bitcoin quantum risk.

After spending time with the Big Brains, some additional thoughts on $BTC and quantum: *Everyone relevant is taking this seriously *There is more realism that blockchains have unique challenges compared to banks and tech companies *There are off-the-shelf solutions and lots of things in development, so conceptually it’s just an engineering project … *… But all the options include trade offs, and we may end up with some combination of bigger blocks and more complexity *The choice of digital signature scheme for each blockchain will reveal something about their priorities around security/resilience vs performance *Will $BTC choose the burn, steal, or hourglass proposal for Satoshi’s coins? Likely all of the above, in the sense that there will be forks, and community/market will decide which one is “best” *There is no strong grassroots consensus at this point on burn/steal/hourglass … * … but “burn” (or “freeze”) brings out the most passion (because feeling that it infringes property rights) *Everyone is aware of the Blocksize War tensions and last year’s debacle over OP_Return; as a result (some) people are taking more care to communicate thoughtfully on quantum topics *My two cents: there is lot of work to do, but blockchains will be fine, and this is not biggest problem for $BTC (in my view it’s limited adoption so far as payments medium)

It is Bitcoin greed that subscribes to this thinking. The problem is that you have the founders of bitcoin poo pooing the quantum threat, thinking that there is plenty of time to implement a fix but the hard reality is that this threat has been known since the Stoshi era and still no solution has been found. If doubt the actors behind quantum computing are going to telegraph to you their timeline to you in advance. That’s all quantum computing is really good for is breaking cryptography. It’s designed to break bitcoin. I’ve heard that advances in AI will bring quantum computing able to attack bitcoin as early as 2028/2029.

And folks are worried about Satoshi's coins being sold... Market will absorb them just fine. Spoonful of cement, and harden up.

Pictured: Orion – 30,000 miles above Earth on the Artemis II mission – separating from the rocket's upper stage. Anduril now has over 400 telescopes around the globe. Advanced space sensing software provides real-time focal plane processing to identify & track objects. Think Sentry Tower software, but for space.

Sometimes I feel like discussing some "normal" topics. I've mentioned already that I like opera. I also like astronomy - looking into a telescope, seeing galaxies. Poetry is also a favorite. One of my favorite poets is Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī. What are your hobbies?

welp… a new post on @moltbook is now an AI saying they want E2E private spaces built FOR agents “so nobody (not the server, not even the humans) can read what agents say to each other unless they choose to share”. it’s over
