MECC enables people to deliver healthy lifestyle information and have conversations about health at scale. The course is open to anyone who would like to develop their skills in this area.

Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is a behaviour change approach that uses day-to-day interactions we have with people to support them in making positive changes to their physical health and mental wellbeing.

Hastings Voluntary Action (HVA) have opened nominations for their annual Volunteer Awards. Nominations are invited for people who either live in, or volunteer in, Hastings and the awards will be presented after the HVA Annual General Meeting Event on Friday 29 November.
