The head of High-Speed Rail tried to control the questions that could be asked in an interview. Meanwhile, Newsom is backing legislation to shield the project from public record requests. Perhaps this is because the estimated cost just grew to an astonishing $231 billion.

It appears the shooter from the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Cole Allen, is a huge fan of Paul A. Thompson, who is running for Judge in seat 116 of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. Fun fact: Paul A. Thompson was the lead prosecutor in the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault case in Los Angeles.
