@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 Dude, Jesus died and resurrected according to the bible & the disciples bore witness to this at the cost of their lives
This is literally the central message of the Gospel
Even historically, the crucifixion of Jesus is one of the most widely attested events in ancient history
English

@hybraid6 @enesovat22 Concerning the crucifixion.
Jesus didn't die according to the Bible because the Jews wanted to disgrace him but God Almighty saved him from the cross.
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 2. By definition Jesus wasn't a Christian, He founded Christianity.
English

@hybraid6 @enesovat22 Who called you Christians?
It was the unknown pagans because the followers of Jesus never knew or heard the name "Christians" because that day was their first time to hear that.
So the question is, how did people refer to the followers of Moses and Jesus?
Was Jesus a Christian
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 Do you know what proper noun is?
1. My claim is that there's a specific group of people with specific beliefs and practices. This group adopted the name "Christian" in the time of the apostles —the first leaders of this group— and has gone by that name since then.
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 Before Jesus, the Jews followed the Law of Moses, centred on their covenant with God, Temple sacrifices in Jerusalem, etc.
Jesus then claimed to establish a New Covenant and to be the ultimate sacrifice for sins.
However, my point is that His teachings are different.
English

@hybraid6 @enesovat22 Before Jesus how did the Israelites get salvation?
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 We are going round in circles. I made a claim and gave a definition. Are you saying that the specific group I defined doesn't exist? Or that they are nameless.
Or is it that Muhammad never had followers?
English

@hybraid6 @enesovat22 To be called a Muslim is not a label for a specific group because it is a description.
So anyone who submits to One true God is a Muslim no matter where you are coming from. That's why we believe in all the prophets. All the prophets sent by God came with the same message.
English

@officialladi_T I see nothing wrong with starting from Data Science if that's your goal & you follow a proper roadmap. DS already involves stats, math, data cleaning, EDA, visualization, and problem-solving before ML comes in.
The issue is people jumping straight into AI/ML without foundations.
English

Okay so I'm a beginner and I just want to share something I've been learning about recently.
So apparently a lot of beginners make the mistake of trying to jump straight into data science or data engineering without starting with data analysis first. And honestly I understand why because data scientist sounds cooler and the salary is something else 😅
But from what I've been reading and hearing, data analysis is the foundation. Like you need to understand it first before anything else starts to make sense.
I even heard of people who went straight into data science, got completely lost and had to come back to start data analysis from scratch. That one pain me for them 😭.
You can jump straight to data science if you want, nobody is stopping you. But it's going to be a lot harder than it needs to be.
If you're a beginner like me, let's just take it one step at a time. Data analysis first, then we build from there ❤️
Senior analysts and data scientists please help us out in the comments
is this true from your own experience? Let's learn from you

@BetweenThieves7 @Sacramentshow Your counterfeit analogy actually supports the Catholic point: counterfeit currency only makes sense if there is an authentic standard everyone is measured against.
English

Good question. If there is unity in catholicism, why do 71% reject transubstantiation, half support abortion, and more than half support gay marriage despite their church's clear teaching on those subjects.
Perhaps the existence of counterfeits says nothing about authentic currency except that it is truly valuable.
English

@BetweenThieves7 @Sacramentshow Catholic doctrine remains officially defined even if members reject it. So dissenting catholics doesn't change anything.
But in Protestantism, disagreement often creates entirely new denoms with contradictory teachings, all claiming the Holy Spirit led them.
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 Jesus taught:
4. A relationship involving Father, Son and Holy Spirit
5. That He had authority to forgive sins.
6. A very elevated and restrictive view of marriage.
7. A radical ethic of enemy-love.
8. That He Himself was the fulfillment of the Law and Prophets.
English

@hybraid6 @enesovat22 All the prophets sent by God Almighty taught the same message.
Believe in one true God.
Practice good deeds and shun evil.
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 2. Jesus doesn't belong to this group. Islam also directly contradicts many things that He claimed & taught.
3. "Christian" is a proper noun referring to a specific group of people who believe that Jesus came to die for our sins etc & are born again. Are you part of this group?
English

@hybraid6 @enesovat22 The word Muslim doesn't belong to a group of people, race or particular religion.
It is a description or an act but not a label to a group of people. The problem is people have turned it into a political tool.
I can refer to myself as a Christian because I believe in Jesus.
English

@SkipperMan9 @enesovat22 So, a Muslim isn't someone who follows Islam, believe in the Quran, and considers Muhammad as the final messenger of God right?
So Jews and Christians are all Muslims right?
Or must they submit to God only as Islam describes it?
English

@enesovat22 Islam means submission to God.
A Muslim means someone who submits to God.
Job:22.21
"Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.
James:4.7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Reflect on it.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
