It is a beautiful winter day at the construction site in Kokkola, Finland... Now building Hycamite's new Customer Sample Facility. When commissioned later this year, it will be the largest hydrogen plant in Europe, where hydrogen is produced by splitting methane.

Yesterday, the European Commission (EC) presented a recommendation for a 90% net greenhouse gas emissions reduction within the EU by 2040. The 90% emissions reduction target would require 100Mtoe of green hydrogen in 2040 and a further 37Mtoe of e-fuels. hydrogeninsight.com/transport/anal…
