It has started. My wife woke up yesterday to this email from NRS for her company. She showed me, and I said the most important thing for you to do is file your returns. And dont let your turnover get to 100m in a year so as to avoid paying CIT. In the end, I told her she could always hire me as a consultant to be filing it for her since I'm an accountant. CC: @FinPlanKaluAja1 This is what you said not long ago. File your returns. Even if you earn zero naira. Please, i covered anything that'll reveal her company with an emoji. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

What Isa Ali Pantami did at the National Mosque Abuja goes beyond a normal sermon, it was a message people should reflect on deeply. Mallam spoke about unity, betrayal, and forgiveness right in front of Uba Sani, Nuhu Ribadu, and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, especially at a moment like this, is not a coincidence. It is a reminder that no matter how deep political differences or personal betrayals go, there is always room for reflection, and restraint. Moments like this show that life is bigger than politics. Power comes and goes, alliances change, but accountability before Allah and the need to keep a clean heart remain constant. Be careful how you treat people when you have power, and be willing to forgive when you are hurt. In the end, everyone returns to Allah, and what will matter most is not who won politically, but who acted with sincerity and justice. Allah ya sawwaqah, amma daii kash..........

Umaru Musa Yar’Adua was arguably better than Goodluck Jonathan. Jonathan, in turn, seemed more effective than Muhammadu Buhari, and Buhari still appears to have done better than Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I just hope Tinubu doesn’t end up looking better than whoever comes next .

I just heard from a devoted Muslim that she does not know that Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) was 54 years old when he had canal knowledge of 9 years old Aisha. Who else is a Muslim that doesn’t know this important fact. Then she went on to say that Muslims faithful do not strive to live the life Prophet Mohamed lived. This is the greatest lie in this century

Honestly. I'm on this table. I've started showing my wife how to alternate loads depending on the bars of the battery before I travel because I have one kind of inverter that if the battery goes flat dead during operations, no amount of sun or power will bring it back on until you dismantle the battery and use another inverter to charge it. 😥

Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Bola Ahmed Tinubu@officialABAT·
My dear fellow Nigerians, Today, as I clock another year in the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity given me to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration. To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for air time on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely. I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me. Consistent with my tradition over the years to mark my birthday in line with the mood of the nation each year, I resolved to also observe this year's birthday low key. As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we've faced since we initiated our reforms. I'm glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain as we can see some glittering light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by ongoing Middle East crisis. The credit for the positive outcomes we have achieved does not belong solely to me, our Renewed Hope team and to our government. We achieved the gains together. As we march towards the third anniversary of our administration, it is my deepest conviction that we shall succeed in building a brighter future for our citizens and future generations. We are determined to confront some of the challenges we face today, and with your continued support, we shall overcome. Let us continue to work together to build a stronger, prosperous and more resilient nation that will make Nigeria the pride of Africa. Thank you all, and happy 74th birthday to me! Bola Ahmed Tinubu President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

My iPhone 17 Pro Max was ‘MOVED’ at the Eagle Square… 😭😭 Here is how the story unfolded: I arrived in Abuja at 4:10pm on Friday for the APC National Convention, which was scheduled to begin at 7pm. President Tinubu’s motorcade was expected to arrive at Eagles Square for the event. However, I had been delayed at the Lagos airport for about 45 minutes before my flight took off and then faced the stress of moving from the Abuja airport to my accommodation. My plans were slightly disrupted. Then, my colleague @Mr_JAGs called me to inform me of a significant change in the convention’s schedule. This literally raised entropy in my body system. I realised I needed to quickly change my neatly tailored kaftan to the uniform Ankara brocade (Aṣọ Ẹbi) hastily sewn for the APC Convention. It would not make sense if I looked different from the colourfully dressed Lagos delegates led by Mr. Governor. So, I rushed to my hotel to freshen up and change my clothes. I, then, joined Mr. Governor and his Governor colleagues at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge to move in a group to the venue ahead of the President’s arrival. Upon arriving at Eagle Square, the buses carrying the Governors were directed to the VVIP entrance on the opposite side of the President’s entrance. I tucked myself in this movement. Everyone disembarked and proceeded to the VVIP entrance, which was manned by a combined team of soldiers, policemen and DSS operatives. The VIP entrance consisted of three layers of checkpoints, each strictly controlled. Navigating through the first two checkpoints was chaotic. Some unaccredited individuals attempted to mingle with the Governors’ security details, but their attempts were firmly rejected by the soldiers. At the final checkpoint, there was confusion about who should be allowed access. In the ensuing disorderliness, my iPhone 17 Pro Max (2TB) was ‘Moved’ from my side pocket, which was quite deep. I was momentarily dazed by the excitement of the Governors’ grand entrance into the venue. “Where is my phone?” I exclaimed. Everything seemed blank before I came to terms with the fact that I had been robbed. My Charmast power bank and AirPods were the only working tools left on me. How would I work with such hardware? However, I strolled into Eagle Square without betraying any emotion. But within me, I was experiencing deep pain. Emi omo Mushin ni won move ni Abuja… I spotted many of my APC favourites but couldn’t take pictures with them. Pastor Okezie, Bashir Ahmad, Mayowa Davids, Segun Dada, Seyi Law and Jerry Koko, among others. I was worried about getting back to my base without a phone to use GPS. My brother, Saheed Idris, who owns the popular Lagos Gist blog, graciously lent me his small Android phone so I could connect with people while inside the Eagle Square. I tried calling my number repeatedly but no one answered. Given the huge crowd, I gave up on my iPhone. Then, I remembered my iPad, which was at the hotel with my second phone – a top series of Samsung. Most of my iPhone’s contents were on my iPad; this gave me some hope. 1/2 📸: Mahmoud Abdullahi, the suspected phone thief at Squadron Squad after his arrest…

@ObaTrench @chymaker What I am saying is if my daughter starts menses then she can have intercourse. Of course as long as that someone is her rightful husband. Same way a young boy starts producing sperm at maybe 13 or 14 and you give him a woman of 40 and see if he won't impregnate her.

I returned to my hotel at 2:30am. Thanks to my SSA colleague, Mr. Kehinde Motajo, who took me down to the place. I opened my iPad and tracked the whereabouts of my missing iPhone 17 Pro Max. To my surprise, the device was already in Wuse Zone 6, about 8km away from Eagle Square where it was picked. I called the phone repeatedly but no answer. I texted it, pleading, as it is my main workstation. The ‘Mover’ didn’t move. I could not sleep. I managed to sleep around 3:50am and woke up by 5:30am. After I prayed Fajr, I started tracking the iPhone again on my “Find My” app. Then, I saw a movement and the phone was geo-located to a house in Wuse Zone 6 but the map would not show the street name. I was curious. I placed a call to a top police officer in Abuja for help. He quickly contacted Mr. Victor Geoffrey, an Assistant Commissioner of Police and Commander of Scorpion Squad, Abuja, who immediately activated his team for recovery of the phone. The police team, led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Isah Mohammed, started trailing and tracking the suspect who stole the phone… at 8:20am. At 10:50am, we tracked the iPhone to a location in Karu, near NNPC Filling Station. The policemen called me and asked me to join them. I was tracking from my iPad and the distance was closing in on the phone. At a roadside car lot close to Karu Bridge, my iPad beeped and showed my phone was close to where my driver (Mallam Idrissa) and I parked our vehicle. I came down and walked into the car lot; the 3D map of “Find My” app led me to a shield that looked like a makeshift mosque where some 15 people (mostly in their 50s) were sitting and chatting away. I pretended I wanted to pray. As I sat on a bench, then my iPad beeped and indicated the phone was exactly where I sat. I signaled at the police clad in mufti, who were stealthily following me, and they moved in. At this point, I saw professionalism displayed by the policemen firsthand. I was impressed. They asked to see the head of the car lot. An elderly man (looking 60s) came out and he was properly briefed about their mission. The car lot’s head confirmed the people sitting under the shield were coming from the Eagle Square after attending APC Convention but their extraordinary SUV (branded with the face of a governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State) had overheating issue. So, they had to stop by for repair before proceeding to Keffi. So, the car lot’s head then notified the leader of the group of the presence of policemen and their mission. The leader of the group agreed they all be thoroughly searched. After searching 5 persons, the next person to be searched started getting nervous. Lo and behold: my iPhone slipped out of Mahmoud Abdullahi’s trousers. The phone was off due to low battery. But I had my powerbank with me to power it on. I was told to type my passcode; then the phone came alive. Mahmoud Abdullahi, who claimed to be working with Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice, stole my phone during the chaotic moment at the VVIP entrance of the Eagle Square. The suspect was arrested... Many thank to these highly professional men of Nigeria Police Force. This crime-busting team led by ASP Isah Mohammed comprises ASP Douglas Ishaku, Inspector John Emmanuel and Inspector Gana Mohammed. These guys are wonderful. 2/2

Dele Farotimi. A victim of Nigeria
The Nigerian judiciary is an abuse of the entire idea of a judiciary. It is a rebuke of the idea of justice, and a veritable tool for the suppression of the rights of the victims that have been mislabeled as citizens..🤮
FESTUS OGUN@mrfestusogun

I refuse to believe El-Rufai has been released. That would be an unprecedented ridicule of the judiciary. He was remanded by the court and can only be released by the court. His bail application was to be argued on Tuesday. Releasing him is an abuse of judicial process.

Grief and Grace: Shehu Sani Mourns with El-Rufai Over Mother’s Death Former Kaduna Central Senator, @ShehuSani has condoled with former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, over the death of his mother. In a condolence message issued on Saturday, Sani described the passing as a profound loss not only to the El-Rufai family but also to Kaduna State and the nation at large. He paid glowing tribute to the deceased, commending her life of service, community leadership, and the enduring legacy of her motherly care and guidance. “Her death is a great loss to Kaduna State and the nation at large. We appreciate her life, community leadership, and motherly love,” he said. Sani also prayed for the repose of her soul, asking Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus. He further prayed for strength and comfort for El-Rufai and his family in this moment of grief. “May Allah console the heart of our former Governor and his family members,” he added. Reflecting on a personal connection, the former lawmaker noted that the deceased was also the mother of his late childhood friend, Ibrahim Iro El-Rufai, who died in a tragic road accident in 2014. He concluded with the Islamic expression, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” meaning, “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
