@CasualReb Friend, OM has been in this spot for many many years! The National Championship you speak of, was a total anomaly, be honest. OM was literally 1 game, 1 game from not qualifying for SEC tourney, much less a regional. They got HOT. That simple. It wasn’t an Elite year. Jus truth

Ole Miss may not have the most historic program in college baseball, but we’re 4 years separated from winning a national championship for Christ’s sake.
To see this program be run the way it has been without ANY repercussions makes me beyond frustrated.
Winning only one series against your in-state rival in the last 10 years should’ve been grounds for being fired years ago.
Doing nothing to build off winning a championship in the years that followed outside of a disastrous regional against Murray State should’ve had his ass fired.
And yet, nothing.
If this program wants to elevate itself to be among the elite of the SEC, it demands actions to be taken and more than empty words spoken to desperate fans clinging to a program so far removed from what it could be.

2.9 million per year do Brian O’Connor as well and they’ve gone all in on 2026 baseball. They’ve got a great team this year no one can deny that.
