@StaffsRCT @NationalHways I'm aware what diesel does 2 tarmac. Default is its fcuked, plane it out and relay. What trials have been done to determine time frame and other options. I've known a gallon of washing up liquid (lots of little bottles from supermarket) in a timely manner worked.

M6 J14 to J15 CLOSED - Single vehicle RTC. HGV has collided with nearside and central barriers resulting in the HGV turning over spilling diesel all over the carriageway. Luckily no injuries report. Road likely to be closed most of the morning for resurfacing and repairs.

This Ford was broken down at junction 16 on the #M6. We towed the FORD to a safe place. We were even kind enough to arrange recovery for the alone driver as he only held a provisional driving licence and no insurance. Driver reported vehicle seized. #OpLightning Team 1

People in the Bolton BL9 area be on the look out for this man, the victim in a social media post wrote: "At 7:36am this morning there was a man in my garden looking through my kitchen window. He quickly ran off then returned at 8:09am after seeing me through the upstairs window. "He climbed up my neighbours extension and was demanding I let him into my house. He then tried to climb across the house using my bathroom window ledge to try and get to the room I was in. "Please be vigilant. Luckily my windows and doors are always kept locked. There is also an ‘x’ on my garden wall. I’m unsure of whether it’s just pure coincidence, or if he’s marked it on purpose and has a motive. "Be careful!"

@GardaTraffic Immediate penalty for using a phone at the wheel should be watching as its placed on the tarmac and smashed with a club hammer, then add the fine. Folk will soon take notice then!

Between 7am on Wednesday and 7am yesterday morning, we detected 266 drivers using their phone while driving. Already this year, 762 motorists have received Fixed Penalty Notices (€120 fine and three penalty points on their licence) for this road traffic offence. #SaferRoads

@HantsPolRoads Shouldn't give them option to remove at roadside. They know exactly what they are doing. Recover it to pound, inconvenience is worse than any fine + costs + points.

This vehicle was stopped due to tints in the front door windows. The legal limit for transmission of light through these windows is 70%. These read as 6%! Note how difficult it is to see my colleague in hi-vis through them. Tints removed roadside & ticket issued. #27628 #20672

1/2 - Toyota failed to stop for our colleagues @DerbyshireRPU down the A38 onto Staffs where we took over the pursuit along A5 into @CannockPolice area #NortonCanes. Vehicle then reversed rammed us before being forced to stop by @DerbyshireRPU. 1 in custody.
