My sister Maya and I were profoundly shaped by the influence of our mom, Ann Dunham. Giving Maya a preview of the Obama Presidential Center, including a new sculpture by Maya Lin dedicated to our mom’s memory, was truly special.

@Soddem_Hall @SueEdwa34765459 He'll definitely not be able to handle being PM for long. He'll last much shorter than Keir with even less pressure on him. He'll crack so fast I think

@hygfdthtj @SueEdwa34765459 It's a reasonable expectation. When someone's been showing you who they are for 20 years, on and off, believe them!

Whatever your views on @Keir_Starmer, he earned respect from European leaders and Ukraine. @AndyBurnhamGM will have a heck of a time matching that. More importantly, Europe will always view him through the lens of how he came to power-and that will shape trust at the top level.
Sophie Pedder@PedderSophie

Elegant from Emmanuel Macron just now in Berlin about Keir Starmer, who is attending one of his last summits as UK PM. Starmer has acted with “dignity, decency and courage” to strengthen UK’s role in Europe: “We’ve been lucky to have him at our side” 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇪🇺

@charlotteukcity I think we will still see him a lot since he clearly didn't want to have to leave office but he felt pushed to. I truly believe he can do better things without all the pressure and disloyalty behind him. Only time will show us what he can do

I’m heartbroken & demoralised that Keir Starmer, the best PM this country has had, who actually has morals, was pushed out by those who don’t. However, he retains his good soul, which hasn’t been corrupted. He epitomises how all politicians should look & behave. He’s unmatched🙌🏼

@AliArthPainter I have autism. High functioning but also quite severe at the same time (ik we don't use those terms but I can't find any other way to describe mine) I don't work, drive, live by myself and I'm 25. It sucks. I really want to just have a life where I can do things on my own

@charlotteukcity Yep. I'm really going to miss seeing him on the world stage. He did so well for us. Foreign leaders liked him more than his own dumbass MPs. I think the world stage is a better option for him honestly

@VincezoLPL I honestly believe they're worse than Andy. If it wasn't for them, Andy would've stayed in his lane. Truly sad what our own MPs have done to our country just because they were bored of Starmer

#BurnhamOut Already. the bloke is an absolute charlatan. As for the Labour MPs who backed him, they'll be unemployable when they lost their seats

@VincezoLPL @likesretirement I'm really going to miss having a man who actually acts like an adult as PM. I'm truly frightened of what Burnham could do when something doesn't go his way

@likesretirement @hygfdthtj He'll fall apart very quickly. The smiley, blokey thing won't wash when he's got to make actual decisions. Because he's been so vague about what he believes in, he'll simultaneously piss off both left and right who expected things. It's going to be messy

@SueEdwa34765459 @Soddem_Hall Agreed. At least Keir was mature and didn't have this sly sulky attitude to him. He sulked back to GM when he lost the Labour leadership twice in the past so when something doesn't go his way as PM I fear of how he'll react

@hygfdthtj @Soddem_Hall Because he’s been treated like a favourite child by his sycophants & behaves as such. Let’s see what happens when reality dawns.

Call me cynical but it’s pretty obvious to most observers that the kite flying over possible candidatures is a negotiating ploy to secure a job.
Beth Rigby@BethRigby

EXCLUSIVE: @darrenpjones tells me he won’t challenge Burnham getting reassurances over his economic policy, but says over 100 MPs unhappy & he did have numbers. Says he was also angry on a "personal level" over Starmer’s forced exit & “felt a bit disappointed” in way PM treated
