Besides the thin stablecoin liquidity across emerging markets, there’s also a lack coordination. Liquidity sits across P2P desks, and OTC providers. Each provider sees the market differently and competes in isolation. @hyper_fx_ eliminates this with a structure where liquidity is deep and the market is unified.

Nigeria, Turkey, Argentina: hundreds of billions in crypto transactions, most of it stablecoins. But when users try to swap back to naira, lira, or peso, they hit 3-19% conversion spreads. Stablecoins spread fast in emerging markets. Liquidity infrastructure to exit them doesn't.

Everyone saw P2P FX volume and called it informal behaviour. We saw it and called it demand signal. We’re building the infrastructure it was asking for.

Stablecoins now rival traditional payments. $300B+ market cap, ~0.05% interbank rates. Yet emerging markets still face up to 9% FX fees and poor liquidity. We’re building HyperFX to fix that.

Life after cross-border FX costs almost nothing

Africa still pays a premium for FX settlement risk the West solved 40 years ago. After the Herstatt crash, global finance built instant settlement infrastructure, but emerging markets were priced out. Onchain FX risks repeating the same mistake without deep liquidity.
