@KitexKite I could see this being great for accessibility, for starters. I couldn't play briefly due to an injury last year and was surprised how ridiculously expensive more flexible/configurable controllers would be.

Why are ppl mad about this?! It's actually a good idea. It eliminates button wear over time by using the same haptic tech as MacBook trackpad (as I understand. Could be something else). Only downside is the lack of physical feedback which could be solved with small raised bumps

@frayedform @57BossMan57 @reiimihya To be clear I am glad From made ER. It's very polished mechanically and visually and in the UI. It was probably a huge learning experience for them that leveled them up as a studio. I know flexibility and freedom were explicit goals when making ER, so the outcome makes sense.

@frayedform @57BossMan57 @reiimihya TBH I still love ER and have replayed it a bit, but I love it way less then the souls games, which have smaller worlds that feel way bigger. ERs world is massive by comparison but feels small. I do think a lack of interesting decisions is a factor in this

When i find myself thinking about elden ring, i really do feel mixed on it. it was a legendary first time experience but there's something i absolutely loathe about replaying it. i think there's just something deeply unsatisfying in how its progression feels

@darkusnite @imahyperlover Vyvanse is a diff animal, it's longer lasting and smoother so less of a crash than Adderall. Adderall actually helped control my sleep issues bc the crash is a v pleasant and pronounced sleepy

@Husvero I say this all the time but that game probably has the most build variety in the From corpus. Hybrid builds and mixed damage types are great, poison is super viable, + power stancing + crazy weapon variety

Over 30 hours in and DS2 is showing no signs of slowing down. Incredible number and variety of areas. Such a fun world to explore. Game’s peak

@Husvero I mean, all these games have impressionistic narratives that are very subject to interpretation, but I mean it in the sense that, unique to this one are major concealed story beats that drastically alter your perception of what you experience and are very likely to be missed

Finished. Honestly you can just tell there was a lot of cut content/ideas surrounding the blizzard and torches, everything feels a bit unfinished. Level design was great, but it did get a bit confusing sometimes. Probably the best map in the game tho, very intricate and tight.
