I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding the mangaka being a left-winger, and her recent interview with UNESCO and how the globalist UN (which usually condemns Japanese media) has been promoting this, but the reality is the manga was extremely popular in Japan regardless of and way before Japan began to import Western woke culture war issues. I feel like the series, taken at face value, prioritizes world-building, magic system depth, and artistic beauty over on-the-nose leftwing preaching. The focus isn’t the mEsSaGe, it's a good story with with liberal elements in it (much like American cinema in the 80s and 90s) Yes I know the worst people on the internet love it and are claiming it as a work of woke, but idk man sometimes I just enjoy a good story and some awesome animation lol it's ok to enjoy things

@hardncyder @Grummz No, i don't. I quit wow so I don't bother interacting with any part of it or Blizzard. The game is trash these days, but at the same time comparing Diablo to WoW is absolutely insane. Might as well of compared Runescape to GTA because they both have thieving.

Which way, Western gamer? OG wow was never meant to be overtly cartoonish or Disney. it was meant to be stylized, hand painted, exaggerated with a touch of grit and a dash of humor. Diablo was meant to be grim gothic horror. Over time, WoW got the Disney treatment. It was a mistake. Insiders tell me sales are less than expected for the latest expansion.

@Nikbis_ @Grummz They managed to make duskwoods dark and gloomy while made or original judgment almost neon yellow. If you want a prime example of their design choices look at hunter t2. Comparing diablo to wow to try and make a point is just dumb. Diablo has ALWAYS been way darker than wow.

@hysticalz @Grummz Vanilla WoW came out with a hell of a hardware limitation, they did what they could at the time. If they had the choice, I'm pretty sure they'd have gone with the 1st pic.

@Grummz When you're talking about art style just having eyes makes you know more. Wows art style has always been cartoon like, look at some of the OG MC sets. If the OP compared Diablos judge to WoWs judge you could of made an arguement but it compared very 2 different games/graphics.
