Like many others, Vercel is seeing impact from the AWS outage in us-east-1 (IAD). Our service is global in nature, which means the impact from this outage has varied by customer and region. We’ve taken steps to fail over a number of services. The IAD CDN region was rerouted, and customers with Function failover or Functions deployed to multiple regions should be seeing healthy invocations. A lot of IAD-dependent services have been failed over and are seeing recovery. The underlying upstream issue is also seeing significant improvement. While painful, this will be instructive of a number of massive improvements we can deliver on Vercel to continue to improve global resilience for all our customers.
