Clear scanning paths (F + Z) reduce friction, spotlight what matters, and guide attention straight to the next step so that more people actually click, sign up, and buy. 📈 Here’s how to use the two most common scanning patterns: 1️⃣ F-pattern (for text-heavy pages) People scan across the top, then down the left, grabbing key lines as they go. Put your strongest headline and key takeaway top-left, make subheads scannable, and use short bullets so important info gets picked up in seconds. 2️⃣ Z-pattern (for simple layouts and hero sections) Eyes move top-left → top-right → bottom-left → bottom-right. Place your hook/logo top-left, your key message/value top-right, supporting proof bottom-left (benefit, stat, trust signal), and your call to action bottom-right so the “next step” lands naturally.
