Consent✅ Sometimes you have to step back & recognise when you spend every waking hour prioritising your patients (I give everything I can) and neglect yourself - health, physically & mentally I had that reality check when I presented at Sports Kongres January 2025 - it was a huge privilege to be invited - but inside I was unhappy & lacking confidence which overshadowed & sullied the experience I vowed to change this - and set an example as a Sport & Exercise Medicine doctor. Despite enormous personal, physical & occupational barriers, I managed to lose 15kg since January - 105kg to 90kg I feel this is a bigger achievement than anything I've accomplished in Medicine Thank you to the people who have supported me, been patient and to one person in particular

@iHumph That’s exactly the fear. It just goes straight into the stands and it’s over. It’s hard to do as well - I know it looks like there’s tons of them, but it is difficult to actually hit someone and keep it low.

Good idea but just didn’t come off. Ideally you’re looking for this ball to bobble and hit one of the oncoming players OR pop up/over the designated receiver. Third option is that your own team are fast enough to get to the ball past the 10 yard line and grab it

Certainly an argument the ball carrier is far more weaponised than the tackler in general. Ultimately, deliberately leading with the head, especially with a late dip, carries increased risk for both parties as Connor Vest’s broken neck sadly illustrated. twitter.com/PBendon/status…
