i get so confused when people say “next (insert day of week)” because is it the next one coming up or do we skip one and it’s that day?!????

I was invited to a fancy gala and they mentioned it’s mask-required, which helped put my mind at ease about a crowds. In a Three’s Company-style twist of misunderstanding, turns out it’s masquerade-themed. The masks required are the upper-half kind, not lower 🫠

Sadness upon sadness lately. I was gutted to hear of Ms. Morrison’s passing today. I’d hoped we’d have more time with her. She was vivacious as ever in recent years, a living legend right in our backyard. May her voice live on.
