@kinderjw @Headingforsixty As far as I'm aware, VMB's are applied in response to temperature, wind and humidity. But also on some public holidays (eg Christmas)or if there's already a fire burning. If there's no-one available to fight another fire, we reduce the chance of one being started.

@mullewa_man My guess is, quite a lot. We seem to have developed quite a talent for it. But you're right, a solution must be found. We've just witnessed another generation learning to hate.

I am not sure how much more the world can see of this and turn away. There will be no winners, just more innocent lives lost. A political solution has to be found.
