Lessons I learnt from the Tamil Nadu Election results today. 1. It is not necessary to campaign hard every day for weeks together. 2. Booth Agents are not always essential to mobilize voters 3. A powerful manifesto is not required. 4. Political experience is not needed. 5.. Experienced advisors are optional. 6. Meeting the media or taking questions from the press is not necessary. (I thought it was) 7. Money does not always buy votes. 8. Massive ad spends don't get results. 9. Prominent local candidates with clout aren't necessary. 10. Caste is getting to be much less of a factor. Will these revert in later elections or has a decisive change been made? #tamilnadulegislativeassemblyelection2026 #TNElections

This is why DMK is losing. Their online fanbase are rabid and bit anyone who pointed out faults and oversights. Ensured leaders were completely oblivious of ground reality. Relied on 24/7 optics, gimmicks to cover up family rule. People said let’s vote for a real actor not fake.
