@i_am_iimo That doesn’t make any sense to me. Not even to be an asshole but there’s quite a few people in the LI franchise that have surpassed LI (Molly Mae literally owns PLT). I think the more glaring problem with last year was prematurely throwing all of them into a spotlight.

@BeautifulS23120 @RedViolet380 With BTV filming during the school term, and forcing them to film in LA…I just think that it would be very difficult (legally) to force folks into a contract for a completely different program, before they even film for the main show.

People actually believe they care about the islanders 😭. No, this is a form of control that tells me it's true that they changed their contracts. They were upset that they didn't make money off of the fan faves of 7, so now 8 is being punished for it. I bet BTV is forced on them

Nick: with season 8, with the press and audience being what it is.. the producers were like they want to pull back and now they are being careful and a little bit more selective with the press. There's alot of conversation behind the scenes on how they should go about this.
