@YotamSofer @DRUIDsociety Get well soon. The party was great, but it was quite windy, so wouldn't have done your cold any good 🤧

Lisbon so far: @DRUIDsociety was a stellar. Was great having all three chapters of my dissertation presented in one way or the other.. Then I got an aggressive cold, missed the party. Now I’m better, but the weather wasn’t too good. Two more days. Let’s hope for the best :)

Today at the final of the World Cup, I only hope the players on the field and the whole world remembers that there’s a man and fellow footballer called Amir Nasr, on death row, only for speaking in favor of Women’s rights.

The paper explores the relationship between mobility patterns, occupational choices and performance outcomes of university graduates from metropolitan and peripheral areas. We find opposite outcomes for geographically mobile wage earners and entrepreneurs. 2/3

Graduates from the periphery who stay in the study region to work have an inferior performance outcome compared with those who move to the metropolitan region. This ‘penalty’ is not present for non-movers in metropolitan areas. 3/4
