There are a lot of nonsensical think pieces about the EFF and ‘open border policy’. If it is true that you punished the EFF, are you the ones who voted DA? It looks like it because Mashaba and Gayton did not get the disgruntled black vote in support of their immigration policies. The impact on the EFF was largely some who got excitable over the MK. It has nothing to do with ‘open border policy’. They will return because the MK will not last. A party with no solid political and leadership structure is bound to disintegrate.
