@pumpkin I doubt they’re capturing many leads with that copy though! I originally thought it was AI-generated but I think even ChatGPT understands that using the word agile/agility that many times makes you sound like a soulless robot.

I hate this pattern so much: asking someone to disclose 8 pieces of personal info just to download a PDF that should've been a web page should be illegal.

why does every website targeted at devs have to look like vercel? please, if you're going to use shadcn for everything, at least change the default colours

@iainmbean's component gallery project is a treasure. i've referenced it so much writing my blog posts. it's impressively thorough. just scrolling through the list of elements allows me to quickly think through how a suggestion i'm making would apply to each one. a FOMO killer.

Top tip for design system maintainers: keep the URLs to your component documentation pages consistent. Yours sincerely, someone who maintains a database of 3,400+ component page URLs

I'm desperate to migrate component.gallery away from Gatsby for a bunch of reasons – the only barrier to doing so is I need something else that gives me Airtable with a GraphQL API. I've seen that there are services which can do this. Are any of them any good (and free)?

@AdhamDannaway @avaniterson This is one I was unsure about when I first added the component to the site — I just went with the most common term among the examples I found. The ambiguity with 'Progress indicator' means I will probably end up changing it to 'Numeric Stepper' or similar.

@robin_schreiner @MobbinDesign In HTML I usually code these as radios or checkboxes depending on how many options you can choose; they could also be seen as a button group with aria-selected used to indicate whether they’re selected or not. I’d welcome any suggestions for an alternative name though!
