Just deployed our algorithmic strategy for the GMX Max hackathon, still feels a little surreal to type that out.
Getting here took crazy amounts of shell command errors and constantly syncing code between my local machine and our Hetzner VPS
More debugging than I'd like to admit, since I need to match the triggers to actual trades too.
None of it happens without @hypetris_ backing us through the whole process. And @iajmdc carried hard, building features on-demand whenever we hit a wall.

My hot take is that it doesn’t matter if people copy you. They can never embody the spirit of why you do what you do and all the learnings from your trials and tribulations building this company.
I know another company that literally copied @elfa_ai UIUX to the point that they copied our ugly (wrong) green color.
But I don’t care. They will never be us.
Copying is the highest honour and praise. Except when an established VC backs the copycat - no wonder @avipat_ is so mad.

General Catalyst just co-led a $31.5 million seed round into a blatant rip-off of my company, Kled. (skip to 40 seconds if you want to skip context) I would typically not speak on things like this, but this level of blatant copycatting is egregious and completely unacceptable, and needs to be made an example of. This is one of hundreds of YC startups who have conducted this disgusting behavior. Unimaginative slop that continues to get rewarded due to nepotism.

especially helpful if you don't have a strong tech background or your own agent yet, just use elfa auto instead
