His TDD looked pretty concerning early and Pantoja is better at capitalizing on those early lapses with a finish, so I wouldn't be surprised if he got choked early But given the Erceg fight and how thoroughly he was able to control Pantoja with his jab, I think if the fights gets through the early jitters and chaos, Van mostly controls it

Van reminds of Lawler in the way he punishes wrestling. Popping up off the mat and immediately stuffing Taira's head to break his posture and hit him clean. His raw TDD isn't that good, but he has solid scrambling. Did excellent staying composed and refusing to give his back
