This kinda lady was one of those kids back then in the compound that they'd send errands in this scenario and she'll refuse, run to her mum & cry, and she'll say "don't mind them, go inside & meet your other cousins to play", then the mother will scream at whoever sent her errands and be like "never you send my child errands without pre-informing me"; with the girl peeping from inside to watch the moves and be like " yes!, that serves her right".

Let me tell you a scenario that happened in Katsina one time.
When men harvest rice, the women would take it to a communal location where all women in the community thresh it manually together.
Govt bought automated thresher & gave it to the community so the women wouldn't stress. After a month, the women abandoned the threshers and went back to the place they manually thresh rice.
You know why?
The women said, the automated thresher rob them of friendship, gists and Aproko so they'd prefer to suffer and have their communal time together.
For this picture, it is not even suffer as many of the women are rich and can pay caterers conveniently. For these women this is the time they have to talk about the family, their problems and gist. This is when new wives understand the family they married into.
Most times the women doesn't
even do the cooking, they sit down cutting the Ewedu and gistimg.
We are loosing our communal gathering and rewriting important family engagement to suffering.
It is not right!
