Ghanaian Artist Presents Painting To The Spearhead Depicting The Connected Struggles Of Africans On May 28, 2026, Ghanaian expressionist painter Gusikende Seyon paid a visit to The Spearhead Accra Core Team, and gifted us with a painting depicting three African boys with the flags of Haiti, Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) painted respectively on their skin, connected by their shared historical struggle against the brutal parasitism of the West. Haiti, the modern world’s first independent black republic, has limped from one economic, social and political crisis to another since its once-enslaved people dared to rebel against their former oppressor, France, and win, over 230 years ago. Sudan entered the third year of its latest conflict this April 2026, a conflict fueled by external, Western-aligned forces which covet the North African country’s land and gold. And the DRC has not known a day of peace since its first democratically elected leader, Patrice Lumumba, was murdered by Western-backed terrorists in 1961, under the watchful eye of the CIA. Gusikende’s painting speaks to the thread that binds all African nations, and all African people, together.

If you are based in Abuja or you are new to Abuja, take this information very seriously. The people you see roaming the city at night are not normal human beings. Any mistake you make in this city, you are gone. Always tell people where you are going to. When you book an uber ride, always verify the car plate number, the driver picture before you enter the car. If you can go out with one person that is family, better for you. A lot of terrible things are going on in this city, that is not in the news. If your car breaks down in major parts of this city, leave it alone and run away from the car first and look for help first. Late night movements aren't advisable,if you must go out, ensure you know those you are hanging out with and you tell people where you are going to. A word is enough for the wise.

US embassies across Africa are no longer distributing red t-shirts to local communities with solidarity hashtags about missing Nigerian children printed on them? No one is wearing red and doing daily protests at Unity Fountain? No hijab-wearing lunatics screaming and pouring spit at TV cameras everyday? No one is pasting posters of missing schoolchildren under Falomo Bridge? Guardian newspaper is not printing a black square with "Where are the girls?" on the top left corner of its front page everyday? American celebrities have not rediscovered their love for kidnapped Nigerian children? How droll. Until the 230 million tabula rasas learn to differentiate between their factual reality and the contrived, sponsored nonsense funded by the NED budget for a foreign regime change operation. Shebi I'm just a "conspiracy theorist" and America has only ever wanted the best for you? Shebi there was no US-led regime change operation in 2015 intended to derail the development of the 3rd fastest growing economy in the world which was on track to become Africa's first trillion-dollar economy by 2024? Shebi everything that has happened since 2015 including the loss of 65% of national GDP, the generational talent haemorrhage, the total collapse into ungoverned space, the ascension of a drug dealer from Chicago into the presidency, and the creation of a permanent US military base on Nigerian soil for the first time, are all just separate, coincidental events that have nothing to do with each other? Don't worry, your tears have not even started yet. You will cry hot tears for help that will never come.

Jesus (pbuh) spoke Aramaic. The word for God in Aramaic is Allaha. He wore a robe, had a beard, didn’t eat pork, said ‘peace be upon you’ and prayed with his face on the floor. What group of people resembles him the most in our time ;) ? #Islam

Senegal: How an Entire Movement Was Betrayed What is unfolding in Senegal is bigger than a political fallout between President Diomaye Faye and Ousmane Sonko. It is the betrayal of a movement. Faye came to power on the back of a public desire for real change, anti-imperial politics, Pan-African conviction, and a rejection of France’s continued influence in Senegal. That hope was embodied in PASTEF and in Sonko’s politics. But the rift between Faye and Sonko has shown how quickly a people’s mandate can be weakened when leadership begins to compromise with the same systems it was elected to confront. Africa cannot achieve real progress without political and economic independence. Senegal has become a warning. A righteous movement can be reversed when it is placed in the hands of leaders who are not fully committed to the cause.

The supplement industry is worth $177 billion globally. It sells you: Cucumin (we have ata-ilẹ̀ pupa or àjó) Probiotics (we have ogi and iru) Vitamin C (we have baobab) Iron (we have ugwu) Adaptogens (we have efinrin) Prebiotic fibre (we have ewedu and ofio) Nootropics (we have Obi Edun) Every single category. Already in Nigerian food for centuries for free. The supplement industry is not filling a gap. It is selling you back what was taken.

Abuja is not safe. Abuja is not safe Especially at night. Every day I come out here to say things going on in this city, people think I'm just chasing clout. Every day I post the corolla car and tag it the most stolen car in Abuja and that whoever owns one has a target on his back, people think I was joking. This uber driver was k'lled yesterday night in zone 6 Abuja. He is a father of 4 children and he stays in jabi Abuja. I can't count how many people that I know that have lost their lives in the hands of car snatchers. If you wanna know how terrible Abuja is,ask a policeman that works at night, you would be scared of moving at night. If you are based in Abuja, please be careful how you move at night. I tweeted about this same place that it's part of the hot spots where cars are being snatched last week or so. A word is enough for the wise.

Fake drugs and counterfeit drinks have likely killed more Nigerians than insecurity itself. Anyone producing or distributing fake drugs and adulterated drinks should be treated like terrorists because the damage they cause to society is just as deadly.
