From my DM: My name is Promise Orevaoghene. For years, I have lived with a void that words can hardly explain. I have been searching for my mother, and to this day, I have received no news from her. Her name is Francisca Jennifer Ogheneghalome Eke. She is a Nigerian born on February 20, 1976, in Lagos and is originally from Umunede in Delta State. In 2007, when I was just 4 years old, she travelled abroad, and since that day, I have not heard from her again. I grew up not knowing where she went or what happened to her. Even her family is unsure of her exact location, but it is believed she may have travelled to France, Germany, or Spain. Her siblings are Faith Eke, Doris Eke, and Solomon Eke. Her mother’s name is Patricia Eke, who is popularly known as Mamo. This is more than just a search; it is a cry from a child who has grown up still hoping to find their mother. If you have seen her, know anything about her, or have any information at all, please reach out. All questions and information should be directed to @eva_empire. Please help share this widely. Someone, somewhere might know something that can bring us back together. @lindaikeji @ImANorthernGirl @DSGovernment #MissingPerson #FindFranciscaEke #Nigeria #Diaspora

What you think is securely yours can be taken, not by strangers but by the people you never thought you had to guard it against. There’s this 4plots of land in our family long before I was born. My father always talked about how his own father farmed it, how one day it would be mine to build something better. So when the time finally came, it didn’t feel like I was buying land it felt like I was stepping into something I already belonged to. The documents were old and complicated. I didn’t fully understand all the legal details, so I turned to someone I trusted, my uncle. He was older, experienced, and always carried himself like the one who knew how things worked. He said he would help me put everything in order so I handed him the papers without hesitation.

Nobody is going to win us Nigerians in all these xenophobic trade wars because we really don’t benefit much from these neighbouring countries as much as they benefit from us. Now, Ghanaian traders are crying because their own people decided to start a trade war with Nigerians.

The National Police Day: Every April 7 has been set aside by the Federal Government of Nigeria to celebrate her own, the most populous and one of the most effective Police institutions in Africa, the Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG . We salute the courage, resilience, commitment and gallantry of the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force for keeping our communities safe. Even amidst rumours, falsehood and fake news, they still perform their duties diligently. Congratulations to the IGP, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu @TunjiDisu1 and the entire police force on this celebration and yet another feat. #SayNoToCrime

“Often, there’s no dignity in how Nigerians live or even in their de@ths. When a rich man d!es, condolences are paid properly, but the average Nigerian barely gets 10 minutes.” — Adesuwa reacts to President Tinubu’s visit to Jos, plateau state

“This Experience Will Not Repeat Itself” - Another Presidential Promise fails in less than 24 Hours. Less than 24 hours after President Tinubu stood at the Jos Plateau State airport on April 2, 2026, and promised the grieving Nigerian citizens, “I promise you that this experience will not repeat itself,” another brutal attack occurred in Nyamgo Gyel, Jos South LGA, resulting in the deaths of several innocent citizens. Since then, and only a week following that reassuring promise from the President, Nasarawa State has been plunged into grief as the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities fled for their lives after gunmen killed at least 11 people. Many homes were reduced to ashes, and numerous families remain missing. In Zamfara State, 150 innocent Nigerians were abducted from the Kurfa Danya and Kurfan Magaji communities in one of the largest mass kidnappings in recent times. On the same day of the Zamfara kidnappings, terrorists in Borno State stormed Chibok, killing four officers and burning down homes. Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Benue State was rocked by violence again, with over 17 Nigerians massacred, entire communities left in ruins, and many individuals still unaccounted for. Today, in Kaduna State, several innocent citizens were killed by terrorists inside churches, with many others abducted in the Ariko community of Kachia LGA. Yet we were told, “This experience will not repeat itself.” This represents a failure of leadership and responsibility, and sadly, Nigerians are paying for it with their lives. These attackers are not ghostly figures; our inaction emboldens them. How can a President make such a categorical promise and, mere hours later, the nation continues to count the dead across multiple states? The primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property; however, this responsibility is failing today. Nigerians are being slaughtered in their homes, in their communities, and in the very places they should feel safest. Even the President did not enter these communities, so who is truly safe in Nigeria? This is a national emergency. Nigeria is bleeding, and the situation is worsening and increasingly helpless. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@M2quare_ @drkenon2 Oga, you did not answer the question.. the only way to show that you people do not support the rehabilitation and reintegration of terrorists is by protesting against it, has there ever been any protest against that up north?

“There two standards I see in Nigeria: one standard for the north & another standard for the south. Whenever a few Igbo boys have gotten angry & reacted, they sent Air Force, Navy & Military to go & stop them. They take armored tanks to the east. But we see Fulani boys stand & speak on the internet, they say anything, do anything, & nothing moves. Instructions are given for nobody to move.” ~ Pastor Sarah Omakwu
