Woke up with a heavy heart today. Stayed on my bed for over an hour just thinking deeply about how much life has changed in such a short time. There was a time my leave allowance could comfortably sort my yearly rent, and I’d still have enough left to buy a few clothes, footwear, maybe even a jacket. Now? The same money barely sorts anything substantial. The most painful part is watching the quality of life in this country decline so aggressively while people slowly normalize struggle like this is how life is supposed to be. A lot of Nigerians are exhausted, financially stretched, and silently grieving the lives they used to be able to afford. Agree or not, APC already ruined the country, set us in a poverty journey at a fast track pace and they are demanding another 4 years.

Everyday on this app I realize I go tey for house. You want to torture me with silence keh??? Me that kept malice with my mother for 3 days without even touching her food even water at 12yrs old??? It didn’t even help that I was a weak child,I preferred dying I was staggering but I refuse to say a word to her till she apologized,I’ll mute you like you don’t exist!!
