As you clean up local government, kindly take keen interest in District Service Commissions. In many districts, they have become crime scenes disguised as recruitment offices.
A qualified doctor may be asked for “fuel” of only 2 to 5 millions, just to make the shortlist, then told to raise as much as 40 millions "to properly secure the job".
If applicants are broke and the "revenue" collected is not enough, the vacancy is simply re-advertised the next year and another group of desperate applicants is invited.
There are posts that remain vacant for years, not because there are no qualified personnel but because they are being kept for someone’s relative who has just joined university.
Public jobs are being auctioned, while qualified Ugandans remain unemployed.
This rot deserves a serious investigation. And, desicive treatment.

i think @BalaamBarugahar is wrong, someone close to him shd tell him the truth, publicly pinning people on camera before they are proven guilty can destroy innocent lives

My boda guy has just informed me that, some civil servants in Nakapiripirit today reportedly declined to attend a meeting organized by the Ministry of Tourism (@MTWAUganda ) aimed at educating participants on the role of traditional medicine in modern society according to those present, some attendees first asked where the chief guests were coming from, when they were told the delegation was from Kampala, they allegedly chose not to attend, saying they feared being embarrassed like primary children, believing @BalaamBarugahar & his team might be among the visitors due to wat they described as a previous incident involving government workers in the Mbale region

their argument is that the problem is not investigating corruption, but the use of cameras to publicly portray people as guilty before the facts are established
forexample, someone may be filmed & presented as a thief or a corrupt official, yet after investigations & court proceedings, it turns out that it was their assistant, manager or another person who was actually responsible, bythen, the person’s reputation has already been damaged
as an educated friend, you should understand the principle that people should not be publicly condemned before they have been proven guilty

In Bukomero Kiboga district, Chairman LCI contestant by the names of Kiiza Edward affiliated to NUP was abducted together with his friend Kironde by gun men on 08.07.2026 from his home. They were taken to Bukomero police & was later transferred to Kiboga police station

I have helped my people to get improved network because I lobbied for masts. Before I joined @Parliament_Ug , we had very poor network coverage which was affecting our people so much! I have done in two months things that my opponent couldn't do in a five year term! I may not solve every challenge but we have already started and in 5 years, we shalawyers have achieved a lot!

The law we are proposing is not targeting Hon @JoelSsenyonyi as some people are insinuating. The law doesn't work retrospectively (backwards). We can't make a law to target an individual. The law will apply on the appointment of the next Leader of Opposition in @Parliament_Ug not the current one. So you should stop misguiding the public!
