Ticketmaster Canada will no longer allow tickets for concerts, sports, and other live events in Ontario to be resold above their original price starting next week. Ontario’s newly passed Bill 97 caps all resale ticket prices, including fees, service charges, and applicable taxes.

I’m glad to see a major publication push back on the notion that AI is actually replacing anybody’s job in entertainment, and also not leaning into the received wisdom that firing people “because it could take their jobs” makes sense as anything other than a smokescreen.

Update: An exterminator heard about her story and did an inspection for free. The rat feces, urine, and filth flies are so bad that he deemed her apartment unlivable, especially for a cancer survivor like her with a suppressed immune system. So unacceptable. What an evil landlord
