@SimonCarGuy My dad bought one of these new in 1977. Took us to France for our holiday. Couldn’t run above 3000 rpm as in those days you had to “run in” the engine. Sadly got stolen less than a year later.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. There’s a generational shift occurring in the classic car market. Gen X doesn’t want Baby Boomer era cars. It wants the cars it grew up with.

Do you need to change how you train in your 40’s? I write this as a 39 year old former athlete who pulled my hamstring playing cricket last night… Is it because of ‘my age?’ No. Whatever your age you need to train specifically for your sport. Is it because I’m deconditioned? Also no. I’m conditioned BUT I haven’t ran in years- my gym training is for strength and fitness not for explosive speed or power. I didn’t warm up properly and because I’m competitive I sprinted to get 2 runs instead of 1. Ping. So lessons learned? Age doesn’t cause injury- doing full force movements you’ve not done for ages can do. So I won’t be putting down the cricket bat just yet- I will be working on my specific conditioning! If you are over 40 and want to get back into training comment ‘fit over 40; and I’ll send over my training video.

@virginmedia I’ve renewed my contract and when I went to watch it, it was gone… no warning I’ve had nothing but issues with @virginmedia for some time. Your call centre is hard to understand and it takes an age to get to actually speak to someone. Poor aftercare

It isn’t premeditated. We were complained at by the people behind (also Quins fans) who chose not to stand. Ruins the moments.

Top work to Bath fans sat in L39 row 14 seat 28 and 29 for shouting at my 10 year old and making her cry all because she stood up in excitement when Bath scored. Such poor form @bathrugby no wonder families and young people don’t feel welcome.
